Timeless.

Lately, I am finding that when I am getting dressed I tend to leave one step out: jewelry. I used to be the biggest jewelry fanatic, I would pile on bangles, rings, and necklaces. For some reason, I just stopped and the only piece of jewelry I would wear was my hamsa hand necklace and that is only because I slept and bathed with it on. Things are about to change as I have become increasingly aware about how much jewelry can add to an outfit. This is the necklace that changed it all! My new favorite piece, a wishbone by Marc Jacobs. Even better, it was 7 dollars!

Another addition to my fall wardrobe. I can't wait to wear these with wooly socks and a big chunky sweater dress.

Well, it's official summer is coming to a close! That's okay with me though! I love fall. Wool socks, boots, tights, cable sweaters I love them all. However, I will miss summer. So here is one of my fave summer outfits.

I just returned from my annual vacation to Whitefish, Montana. To be honest, the mountain lifestyle makes me crave dressing up, wearing jewelry, and very impractical shoes. I guess I am not cut out for hiking boots, spandex, and windbreakers! Oh well. Here is my newest dress, an homage to my appreciation of girly clothing.

I love my mom. I love her for many reasons but right now I particularly love her for knowing me inside and out. She recently went to San Francisco and brought me back some amazing souvenirs. She has been watching my Marc by Marc Jacobs obsession grow and like any good mom decided to indulge it and brought me back this lovely wallet. I love Marc Jacob's creativity and his desire to be so different, yet so simple. My newest staple accessory. Thanks mom!

I recently made two impulse purchases that I could not be happier about. Lately, I have been all about the tote bag. So, I decided to buy 2 instead of one. Here they are my Marc by Marc Jacobs very different, but very beautiful tote bags. The first one is from eBay, and the second is from shopbop.com!

Review: Boots (not what you think)

I am officially a university graduate, and I honestly don't know what to do with myself. The truth is I love school. So, I will be a little lost this September which is why I have decided to dedicate more time to this blog and make it bigger and better! I am going to start blogging regularly ( no more month-long lulls) and I will be introducing outfit posts, reviewing products, and revealing my wish list/shopping acquisitions. I am also going to use this blog as part of my portfolio for a writing program that I am applying for. So, if you're reading this please visit me and leave me many, many comments! Anyways, I will cut to the chase. I have decided to share my FAVOURITE skin care product. As you may know, I am not from the States so when I go to there I usually go like to try products that you cannot find back in Canada. On my most recent trip, I discovered Boots products. I LOVE them. My favourite is the expert sensitive hydrating moisturizer. It is extremely cheap (4.99 I believe) and it works wonderfully. I have combination skin and it doesn't make me break out and it keeps my face moisturized all day and all night. So! I urge you to pick this product up. (Sidenote: I know this post is extra long, in the future I will attempt to be more succinct)

GALA!

I absolutely LOVE the Met Gala! It seems like this is the event where celebs try to push the envelope just a little bit more. My favourite of the night was surprisingly, Christina Ricci. She looked stunning in Zac Posen. My least favourite was Beyonce in a custom-made Pucci gown. The whole thing was the complete opposite of effortlessly chic, she couldn't even make it up the stairs!

School's out.

Well, not really. But almost! I am almost done my 4th year of University. Ahhh! Meanwhile, I am at work procrastinating so I don't have to study for my last final. Here is my fave spring top. I got it from the store I work at called, "Fly Channel" none of the clothes are labels and they're one of a kind.

joe fresh!

In Canada there is a place called Superstore, it is kind of like Target only not as amazing. You can get your groceries there, electronics, furniture you name it. But you can also get amazing clothing under the "Joe Fresh" label - created by Canadian fashion designer Joseph Mimran. I have gotten some great (inexpensive) stuff over the years, but this anchor shirt has to be my fave.
