I love this trend, I was about the hippie headband for a while but I think that headbands with flowers, feathers, bows, and whatever else you can come across are so versatile and feminine. Unlike with the hippie headband wearing one of these headbands does not typecast you as a bohemian. Here is my favorite television character (Blair Waldorf aka Leighton Meester) wearing a pretty pink flower headband.

Now, while I'm on the subject of designers lending their clothing lines to department stores let's discuss I "heart" Ronson...shall we? While on the same holiday to Palm Springs I was eager to discover Lindsay Lohan's lesbian lovers sister Charlotte Ronson's designs. Well, lets just say I didn't buy anything. Would you?
I am Canadian, but I go to the States often so whenever I go one of the first places I go is Target. I have in the past I have acquired Thakoon shorts, a Richard Chai tank top, an Anna Sui dress you name it. So, when I heard Alexander McQueen was to design a collection for Target I was extatic because its release coincided with my February trip to Palm Springs. However, I was bitterly disapointed. The collection looked like it was cheaply made with minimal effort. Most designers who design for Target create just as fashionable things for Target (ex: Anna Sui, Zac Posen). Sadly, it just seems like McQueen didn't go the extra mile.
