Fountain of Youth.
So, the other day while browsing the fashion section of my local bookstore I stumbled upon this wonderful book. Well, its kind of a book. It's hard to explain actually. It was in the fashion section, so I know it wasn't for children. It is a fashion/coloring book. It shows creations from fashion designers and asks you to draw your own creations! It's amazing. Here are some excerpts.

Pretty Faces.
I don't know about you, but when I pick out a magazine it's not based on the covergirl. Or at least, not consciously. I have my certain favorites, that I buy regardless of the person on the cover. Little did I know, choosing a covergirl is a big business. Today, I stumbled upon these figures. Just by putting Jennifest Aniston on Harpers Bazaar business went up 22%, the most in 7 years! Here are some of the other figures i found, apparently putting Halle Berry on the cover is not a wise business choice! What do you think?
Jennifer Aniston - Harpers Bazaar (255,000 copies, up 22%)
Jennifer Lopez - Glamour (624,000 copies, up 1%)
Julia Roberts - Elle (390,000 copies, down 10%)
Hilary Swank - InStyle (800,000 copies, down 6%)
Halle Berry - Vogue (540,000, down 5.5%)

Lavin.
I know this is old news, but today was the first time that I laid eyes on the Lavin for H&M collection. I usually have mixed emotions about H&M designer collections but I really think that Lavin hit it out of the park. Here are my favorites from the collection! What do you think?

pretty protection.
Clearly, my laptop is very important to me. I use to to online shop, blog, all that fun stuff. For the past few months I have been carrying my laptop in a pillow case. After one too many laughs, I invested in a laptop case. While I was searching for one, it came to my attention how many lovely cases you can get to protect your technology. Here are some of my favorites:

shinyshoes.
Shoes. We have a love hate relationship. I love them, but hate looking at my Visa bill after I have purchased them. So I simply adore that feeling when you put on a pair of shoes and know that they go with your outfit magically. When I bought these shoes I had slight buyers remorse because I didn't have the funds to back them up. Today when I put them on I was so happy I didn't let the fact that I had no money get in my way.

Stripes! I remember a couple years ago, stripes were everywhere. At first, I adored anything striped. But of course, when things get overproduced they lose their appeal. So, because everyone was wearing them, I stopped. Recently I have noticed that stripes seem to be making a raging comeback. But its not a typical comeback. Sometimes, if they're lucky, certain styles become "classics". Take the LBD (little black dress) for example, or other prints like floral or leopord. They have been dubbed as being classic, never going out of style. Maybe stripes have always been in this category. For me, at least, they will be in my closet forever. Here are some of my stripey staples.

Fashion + Candy.
Today, I was going through photos of my Christmas trip to New York City. When I stumbled across photos from Dylan's Candy Bar. The place where fashion and candy collide. This is probably due to the fact that "Dylan" is Dylan Lauren, daughter of Ralph Lauren. Even though this post is not fashion related, this store is amazing and equally as inspiring. It is no doubt that this store was created by a fashion icon's daughter.
